Quality Control
QC is not a single inspection at the end. Ceramic production is reviewed at the stages where defects can actually be identified: form, drying, surface preparation, glaze, firing, branding, assembly and packing.
QC checkpoints
Form completeness, obvious deformation and working-mold condition are reviewed.
Pieces are checked before later firing stages for cracks, warping and handling defects.
Edges, seams and surfaces are refined before glaze or decoration.
Coverage, intended color direction and obvious application defects are reviewed.
Finished pieces are checked after firing for surface, glaze and structural issues.
Critical dimensions, logo placement, text and approved visual references are checked for custom projects.
Pump, filter, assembly and removable components are checked for fountain orders where applicable.
Product count, protective packing, retail presentation and master-carton preparation are reviewed before dispatch.

Custom projects
For glaze, logo, size or packaging projects, approval is documented before bulk production. Natural ceramic variation is expected, but the production run is checked against the agreed form, finish, branding and commercial specification.
Production approval
Include the required dimensions, surface, logo, packaging and market requirements in your brief.
