Good ceramic packaging has to protect the product and still support the brand. The best solution depends on the ceramic form, sales channel and shipping route.
Decide what the shopper needs
Retail packaging can carry brand identity, product name, care instructions, barcode, origin information and any required warnings or component guidance.
Design around the product, not only the artwork
The box and internal protection should be tested against the real product dimensions and weight. Fountains may also need defined spaces for the pump, cable and spare filters.
Separate retail and transport requirements
A polished retail box may still need a stronger master carton for wholesale transport. Case quantity and carton dimensions should be confirmed before the shipping quote is finalized.
