How Custom Ceramica Pet Bowls Are Manufactured
Custom Ceramica production is a sequence of dependent stages. A good result comes from controlling the form, drying, surface, glaze, firing and approval process rather than treating the bowl as a simple Stampato object.
1. Form and mold preparation
Production begins with a proven Ceramica form or an approved development brief. Repeatable forms may use plaster molds or other working tools. Before production, dimensions, branding area and the intended glaze direction should be clear.
2. Casting, release and drying
The Ceramica body is formed, released from the mold, trimmed and allowed to dry under controlled conditions. Drying cannot be rushed without increasing the risk of distortion or cracking, so schedules need to allow for the material rather than only the shipping deadline.
3. Glazing, firing and quality control
After the appropriate pre-firing stages, glaze and decoration are applied and the piece is fired. Finished pieces are checked for surface quality, dimensions, branding, stability and packing suitability before dispatch.
