Ceramic, Stoneware and Porcelain: Choosing a Project Direction
Material terminology alone does not define the performance of a finished product. A useful B2B conversation connects the intended use, approved body and glaze, form, finish and testing requirements.
Start from the intended use
Describe whether the product is drinkware, tableware, a decorative object or another ceramic form. Share the appearance and functional requirements that matter to your customer. Material availability and suitability are reviewed for the actual project.
Treat the complete specification as the reference
Body, glaze, shape, dimensions and finishing all contribute to the result. A photograph can communicate a visual direction, but a sample and agreed specification provide a more reliable reference for production.
Verify care and compliance statements
Food-contact, dishwasher, microwave and other suitability statements should be supported for the selected product. Do not transfer claims from one material name or catalogue model to an entire collection. Request the information needed for your destination market.
